August 2020:TikTok is set to create “hundreds of new jobs” in Ireland after announcing plans to establish a European data centre over the next two years.
The €420 million data centre, the company’s first in Europe, is to be operational by 2022 and signals TikTok’s “long-term commitment” to Ireland, according to chief information security officer, Roland Cloutier.
In April 2021, Tik-Tok introduced a new in-app resource called “Business Creative Hub” and made it available to all business account users.The Hub offers guidance on content creation and a steady stream of trending content to help you learn from best practices and turn creative ideas into TikTok videos.
